Technical Notes

Corian is composed primarily of approximately one third acrylic polymer and two thirds natural minerals, mainly alumina trihydrate, combined to create a solid, homogenous sheet. This composition provides excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, and daily wear.

The sheet dimensions are 3050 mm in length, 1220 mm in width, and 12 mm in thickness, making it suitable for a variety of fabrication needs. Conventional woodworking tools such as routers, saws, and drills can be used for shaping and joining.
